In order to strengthen their integration and ability to act in a group, the 6e A, 6e B and 6e C students visited the Kuala Lumpur National Science Centre on October 4th.
This school day out coincided with the 4th Malaysia Combat Robot competition, an occasion for which the Science Centre organised robotics-oriented workshops.
Our 6e students participated in two workshops favouring group work.
The first one was an introduction to robot programming (using the RERO kit), while the second was a creative workshop in which the pupils’ imagination was given free rein to make scribbling robots (using recycled objects, felt-tip pens, engines and batteries).
After a well-deserved lunch break, our students continued discovering the centre and its galleries with the occasional deafening noise of the robot fights taking place in the main yard.
Our visit ended with the “Science Show” during which the museum staff performed some scientific demonstrations.
Many THANKS to the accompanying adults: Mrs ANNAMAL, Mrs BOGTOB, Mr ALZIEU and Mr BEN DAOUD.
Many THANKS also to those who helped -whether a little or a lot- to make this educational day out a success, allowing our students to expand their scientific and technological knowledge.
