The “Theatrical encounters” of the Asia-Pacific area were officially launched last week by the Cultural Cooperation and Actions Adviser, Mr Roland HUSSON.
LFKL had the pleasure of hosting the various delegations (from Sydney, Tokyo, Vientiane, Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City) last Wednesday.
Students participated in various workshops, image theater, space occupation, sentence improvisation, choir.
They went to KLPAC (Kuala Lumpur Performing Art Center) to meet theater professionals (lighting designers, stage director) before attending a performance of the Shakespeare’s play “The Tempest”.
Students also visited two Kuala Lumpur neighborhoods: The KLCC district and the famous Petronas Twin Towers as well as the older district of Independence Square, between Chinatown and Masjid Jamek.
Our team of 9 students were delighted to be able to work and interact with students from the other 5 French schools that joined this project.
