As part of the week of French High schools around the world, pupils in Year 8 (5 LVB) and Year 11 (2LVB) who study Chinese took part in the following project:
Our pupils selected some words related to the topic of « Male and female citizens, equal and supportive ». Part of their task consisted in searching the etymology of some of the ideograms making up these words, and how they evolved over time, going back as far as their archaic forms 3,600 years ago. Taking inspiration in these words, the pupils enriched their presentations with their personal artistic productions: drawings, paintings, audio/video files, poetry etc.
