As part of “the week of taste” from October 7th to 11th, 4th, 5th and 6th graders made a banner and flags to decorate the canteen with the colours of Italy, England, France, Greece and Mexico.

Delischool served a different specialty every day —  from Italy on Monday, England on Tuesday, France on Wednesday, Greece on Thursday and Mexico on Friday.

Our Chef Nicolas Bouynet toured 2nd and 3rd graders around the canteen’s kitchen, so they could take a look behind the scenes.

Tasting sessions were organised for all classes: students had to guess the mystery ingredient added to desserts such as chocolate cakes and bavarois.

Students also took part to blind tasting workshops, being rewarded at the end with home-made cookies as well as with a budding Chef diploma.

They were also invited to share in activities related to food consumption in the CDI, the BCD and the English bookshop.
