From 5 to 9 October, as part of the “Week of Taste” organised by our Chef Nicolas Bouynet from Delischool, our 1st and 2nd graders took part in three culinary workshops with their teachers (Ms. Michel, Ms. Quintin and Ms. Sarremejanes):

1st activity: classifying ingredients according to whether they are sweet, salty, acid or bitter.

2nd activity: blind tasting: guessing what is the ingredient that has just been sampled.

3rd activity: guessing what were the “mystery” ingredients added in some desserts (sweet potato in a chocolate cake; honey coated cherry tomatoes in a crème brûlée).

These fun-filled activities allowed pupils to discover and appreciate distinct flavours!
